Billy Elliot

Title:
Billy Elliot

Writer:
Melvin Burgess

Reason to choose:
I watched "Little Dancer" and it was really good, so I wanted to read this book.

synopsis:
Billy is a boy who learned boxing, but one day, he skipped his boxing class because he didn't like. He went to ballet class and he became interested in it. Ballet teacher taught him ballet and he enjoyed it.
At first, his father got angry because he thought ballet is for girls. However he changed his opinion because Billy really enjoyed dancing.
At last, he became a professional ballet dancer and danced on the stage.

Opinion:
This book is written with some objectivity. Chapter 1 is from Billy's objectivity and Chapter 2 is from Jackie(Billy's father)'s objectivity. I thought it's interesting. If you have time, I recommend you to watch movie "little dancer" too!

  1. A better way to say 'objective' is point of view. So this book was written from different points of view.
