Title:
Tales from Moominvalley
Writer:
Tove Jansson
Reason to choose:
Because I love Moomin!
synopsis:
This book has many short stories, so I'll write about 3 stories in this book.
1. The Spring Tune
Snafkin was very tired because of his trip, but one small animal who admires Snafkin came and asked him many things. At first, Snafkin was angry but when he knew that this animal didn't his name, Snafkin gave him a name. The name was Teety-woo. Teety-woo liked this name very much and Snafkin continued his trip to Moominvalley.
2. The Last Dragon in the World
One day, Moomintroll found a small dragon in the brown pond to the right of Moominpapa's hammock. He was very surprised and brought it to his house. In spite pf his care, the dragon became to like Snafkin and tried to follow him. Snafkin refused it because the dragon is Moomintroll's dragon. Moomintroll thought it's good way to free this dragon, so he did it. The dragon went to Snafkin's place at once. Snafkin asked Hemulen to take this dragon away as far as he could.
After that, Snafkin and Moomintroll enjoyed fishing.
3. The Invisible Child
One evening, Too-ticky came to Moomintroll's house with Ninny, but Moomintroll couldn't watch her face. Ninny didn't have face. Her aunt said her a lot of irony everyday, so she lost her face. However, because of Moominmama's kindness, she became little friendly to Moominfamiries. Moominmama tried to make medicine to help Ninny, and at last, she recovered her face.
Opinion:
I think this book is interesting, but this is difficult too. There are some Moomin book at SALC, so if I have energy, I want to read other books.
