A Tale of Two Cities

Title:
A Tale of Two Cities

Writer:
Charles Dickens

Reason to choose:
At first, I didn't want to read Dickens's book more, but I think his story is complex but interesting, so I chose.

What kind of book is?:
Classic

synopsis:
Miss Manette thought that his father was dead, but a stranger visited her and said "Your father isn't dead." His father, Dr. Manette was confined to Bastille and liberated. She went to France to meet her father but his father was very weak, so she led him to England.
Five years later, she and her father stand in the court as a witness of one affair. Respondent was Charles Darnay who was a spy. Mr. Carton who was a justice(?) helped him and he got innocent.
Mr. Carton visited Miss Manette's house often because he fell in love with her, but he thought that he can't get married her because he is poor and she is rich.
One day, The Marquis of Evremonde who was an uncle of Charles killed one boy by his coach. That night, Charles visited his uncle and told him that he'll leave his family. The next morning, his uncle's body was founded. The boy's father killed him that night.

In France, a revolution was began and Charles was caught and be bound in chains. He was subject to capital punishment. When Mr. Carton heard the news, he decided to help him because Miss Manette loved Charles. Mr. Carton loved her very much so he didn't want to see her sad face. Mr. Carton and Charles were dead ringer, so Mr. Carton wore Charles' clothes and be send to the guillotine.

Opinion:
This story was too complex to read for me and it was hard. This synopsis maybe nonsense, sorry. I'll choose more simple story.
I thought Mr. Carton was very pure and kind person. At first, I thought this is a historical story, but it was love story, so I was surprised.
